Default Poor Bluetooth sound quality (microphone problems while calling)

When talking on my phone in the car people always complain they cant hear me very well.
Anyone else have this problem and is there a way to improve it?

Haven't heard that from anyone, what type of phone do you have, it could just be that phone has a poor bluetooth support.

I have one friend who, for whatever reason, seems to have issues hearing me with my Bluetooth. Most people don't even know I am in the car, or at least that was before I added the exhaust. No issues from the BT on my end. I would take a look at the phone and see if that model has issues with BT in general.

I get the same complaint from several friends. I have a Galaxy S3 so I don't think it is the phone. If I need to have a business conversation I just pick up the phone. Never had this problem with my Acura.

Mic is in the driver door tweeter. Check the settings in the nav unit.

Weird... Im always told im yelling when I speak on BT using an S2. Maybe its cause all this time I was thinking the mic is at the center of the dash. Thanks for pointing out the location. Hope you get it figured out OP. GL!

i have i5 as well and no problems with bmw or lexus blue tooth. one thing to do so the other person on the other end doesn't hear echoing is to make sure your phone is not anywhere near only hear t hrough the cars mic and not both your phone and the mic because it will start sounding bad to the other person on the phone.

No. It's in the center console near the sunroof controls. There are adjustments for this in the service menus, not the user menus.

I just had a look in the settings and the only possible option is the volume, I'll turn it down slightly and see if that improves it. I am only going on what people tell me when they can't hear me very well, they usually say I sound like I am a long way away.

Zero problems here with a 4s. Are you certain the problem is not with your service provider?

Hey guys this is a bit off topic and sorry to hijack the thread, but is it possible to stream music off your phone via bluetooth on ISF? Or can it only work as a phone?
