To all of those with exhaust set ups...do any of you have an exhaust gurgle. I love that sound and was interested in knowing if there was a particular setup that allowed this. I'm planning on getting a set of PPE headers and looking into the Joe Z exhaust. Are there any particular mods that would make this more possible like an X pipe of cat deletes? thanks in advance!

 

If by gurgling you mean the backfiring noise, the Joe Z by itself will do it for you to a small degree, probably even more so with the addition of a set of aftermarket headers.

 

The borla system does it as well, but its pretty minimal.... more when you're in sport / manual mode during down shifts in the lower rpms

I have an iss forged qes and the "gurgle" and deep tone is very apparent in person; videos seem to show rasp.

 

straight pipes does lots of gurgling, farting and back firing lol sometimes it scares me haha

 

Does everything but squirt...almost perfect! My ISS forged gurgles and I love it.

Agreed. I just put my Borla system on last night, and it definitely has that "V-8 gurgle". Still getting used to the various tones and the different RPMS. It doesn't drone at any constant load, which is good, and is for sure louder than stock. It's too cold/icy right now to really open it up unfortunately.

 

Headers + ISS Forged does a nice gurgle IMO...straight pipe not so much (only in first gear), but the backfires are pretty damn loud.
