when i bought my lights through lexus, i needed the following to complete.

the lower cover has a wire harness attached to it to make the LED strip to work ( i believe it was like 35 bucks each)
the upper cover was for the high beam light (13 or 30 bucks each ...i can't remember)
the flasher is 60 bucks. ( you dont need it right away and it can be installed later, your flasher will still work just blinks faster)
all parts were bought through lexus at retail, im sure they are a bit cheaper at sewellparts.com
what you move over from your old lights are the ballast, bulbs, the square plastic cover. and other little bits and pieces, it's pretty straight forward.
just make sure you have all covers before putting them on your car, you dont want to start getting condensation in them because you are anxious.
the headlight bracket itself, all you do is dremel it and you are done.

You don't really spend $2k on them lol. Sewell has them on sale all the time for $1200, the stripped set. And you can easily still sell your stock stripped headlights for $600-$700, I see them FS all the time. So more like $500-$600 when all said and done.
I dont see where sewell has them stripped for 1200 or where you can get them 850 on ebay. I must suck at searching...
only my dumb self would pay that. im still kicking myself in the behind , i could of waited three more weeks but of course, i didnt even know about the sale.

always next time lolz
