Default Headlights issue. Help!!!

CL members I'm in need of your opinion once again. A few weeks ago I posted regarding my driver side headlights. I was told by my dealership that it needed to change the entire driver side headlights due to ECU failure. I was told by some of CL members that I can buy the ECU aka ballast from sewell which I did. To make long story short. I bought the ballast and had my dealership installed it but it did not work. I'm really debating on buying new headlight assembly for my driver side or completely change my lighting as far as HID. Changing HID is probably the economical way. Buying the OEM headlamp assembly will be expensive. I'm asking you guys for your opinion. Thanks.

I can't believe that a new ballast didn't work.

Probably the cheapest option would be to buy just the drivers side headlight from ebay if you can find a good deal. I had a similar problem where I really messed up my drivers side headlight so I bought the 2012 stripped headlights from Sewell for their Black Friday deal.

If you went that route you could still get their stripped headlights as your passenger side still works and you have an extra ballast for your drivers side. They are really expensive now!

Good luck with your decision.

Did you check the fuses?

It's pretty strange that a new ballast didn't fix the problem..

Yup... Checked the fuse. It's definitely weird cuz i already changed the bulbs and the ballast and it still did not work. Now I just bought a pair of highlights on classified section. We'll see if it fixes it. I'll be **** if it doesn't. crossing my finger.
