My driver door has been getting progressively worse with a click-pop sound every time you open or close the door. I hit it with grease but it didnt seem to help much. I pulled the door panel and removed the assembly and took it to the dealer for a price.....$230 bucks! Needless to say it is a trim part that is not covered under warranty. I am wondering if this is a common part from Toyota and could be purchased through a Toyota dealer for less. Any ideas?

 

Wow, any idea why it started giving you problems? Wear and tear?

I would check Sewell or go to a local junk yard and pull it off a regular IS.

 

Pretty sure it was just wear and tear, It got progressively worse over the last few months. Checked the local yards and nobody has any wrecked IS###'s
