Default Rear Bumper Reflector Removal?

Anyone know or have any experience removing the rear bumper reflectors on the IS-F? Does the rear bumper have to be removed. I havent been able to get any good info on this. Thanks upfront, for any help!!

Yes, you have to take the bumper off to get access to the reflectors. The bumper isn't too hard to remove. I believe it took us about 2 hours to remove, put in the LED lights and to put it back on.

If I remember correctly, there are 2 screws inside each wheel well, up high, 1 on the bottom of the bumper on each side behind the wheel and 2 in the middle of the back under the license plate. You also have to take off the back metal load tie downs (they are bolted in, pop a plastic cover in the middle to get to the bolt), both top net hooks and pop off some of the "rug" on the inside of the trunk (if you have to access the wires). You also have to take the plastic cover off the lip of the trunk by the bumper to get to some of the clips. that has 3 plastic clips and then pops off. You will also have to pop off the "tow hook" cover and get to a bolt behind each one.

Once you remove all the screws and bolts from the bumper, the top lip pops straight out if pulled with some force, but don't bend it. Get in close to each pin and pull straight out. You can see the black plastic on the side of the car where the top lip clips in.

Also, don't pull the bumper off too quick, the backing sensors are clipped into the bumper.

Hope this helps somewhat. Let me know if you have specific questions.

Haha...I guess no one really cares about answering your question. I think it was asked a couple times. I was also curious since I saw them on ebay. I'm think I may take a shot and order them from ebay.

Sorry, I haven't been on the boards in a bit. I'll take some pictures and put them up tonight. I have the white lens with red LEDs and they look great. I'll try to get a picture both during the day and at night.

If someone has a pic of the red ones I would love to see how they look. I have MM and I think the white would look washed out. I bet they look good against USB, Kramer post some pics!
