i am surprised you guys lose any amount of oil, i daily drive mine and my oil level is always the same even after 10-12k miles , i also drive hard every day as well as multiple roll races.

Mine used about 2 litres in 10000kms, I changed the oil to fully synthetic and 3000kms has not shifted on the dipstick try fully synthetic, and these cars need a very flat surface to check the oil cheers.

All engines burn oil. If the level doesn't move, you have fuel dilution or water dilution going on. It is impossible for an engine to burn no oil. If you have a really good ring fit, you'll burn a smaller amount, but there's no such thing as a ring that doesn't allow some oil into the combustion chamber.

That's what I was thinking reading this thread... every car I've ever owned has burned through small amounts of oil between changes. Surprised to see so many reporting supposedly perfect levels.

So you think it will be beneficial I switch from conventional to fully synthetic with 300k on the motor?
Seems people are doing oil changes every 10-12 k miles?

So what you're telling me is that you go between 10 to 12 thousand miles between oil changes and you don't see any drop-off in your oil level whatsoever?

As I stated earlier I do see a small amount of oil being burned off when driving much more aggressively I change my oil every 7000 miles. My oil has never dropped as low as OP.

Typical night driving home, as soon as I pulled out the gas station on the highway heading back home I notice PD, so I have to slow down for a little bit youll see his lights come on as he bagged somebody.
