Buying a Is-f
Hello Club Lexus
I just joined and dont know too much about is-f's. I was possibly interested in a used one, currently i drive a 2011 subaru sti sedan and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to pull the trigger on a used is-f.
I noticed many going for 37k-45k, would I be able to get a decent mielage one for that price?
Finally is there known problems with this car?
Thanks

You can get an 08 or 09 for that price in good condition and decent miles. A few common problems but nothing like other brands. If you get it one under warrenty you can get it all fixed. Only problem I had with my 08 was a leaky water pump fixed under warrenty. I would buy one if I were you. Its a very fun, rare, enjoyable car with an amazing V-8 that sounds great with exhaust. There is a lot more mods you can do to your STI, but If you want a good all around car the F is the way to go.
