Whats up people
Im going to a dealer to look at an ISF that i am interested. the question i have is besides physically test driving the car, what else can i do to visually inspect the rotors and brakes. Is there anything specific i should be looking for to let me know whether they need to be changed or if they are good?
The car has 45000 miles on it and is going for 38.9 and thats why I'm asking.
Thanks
I see that's the black one in Elizabeth, NJ.... you should be able to haggle and get a few grand off the price.
Visually I would check for:
- nicks on the front bumper/hood
- scratches or dents
- oil level
- make sure water pump isn't leaking (pink coolant should be up to full level)
You can register on http://owners.lexus.com , enter the VIN and see all the service history of the vehicle. I also suggest you check the Carfax. I got my brakes inspected and it showed up (the dealer measures the thickness in mm) on the Lexus Owners site, so you should be able to see that.
Yeah i did that. It showed that its been serviced and everything At Lexus of Palm Beach. I think that was the name of the lexus dealer. But since it says that I'm assuming that everything will be okay. Yeah its the one in Elizabeth, NJ. Im going to check it out hopefully this week if i get the chance. With school and work its kind of tight but ill try. I went to see one at Lexus of Queens. What a beauty. 36000 miles going for 36990!!. Sadly i missed it because someone put a deposit on it 2 hours before i got there
