On my two Evo 8's I just used O2 sensor extenders to eliminate CELs. It pulls the sensor out of the direct flow which makes it read ok. The same principle should be an option for anyone still getting CELs from headers.

You really don't. If the o2 sims are wired properly all will be well.

When using the headers are you removing the primary catalytic converters all together?

Secondaries I have never had throw a code when removed but curious how the primary's are being removed if that's the case. The primary 02 sensors feed back to the ECU and should affect A/F's so how are the foolers getting around that? Are they acting as a voltage clamp at some point?

Very interested.

Damm Obiwan.....3 Supras and the F!!! I though I had my hands full!

I'm planning on Sikky headers with Borla exhaust as well. I don't want my car to be extremely loud. Hopefully someone here has numbers for that setup. I'm really interested in knowing how well the Borla system work.

This absolutely does not work on a ISF. Computer o2 simulator is the only way that light is going off.

I can confirm darbs answer. I used the extenders on mine. They worked for about 6 months, then I got the CEL. Then installed the o2 sim, and all has been well.
