I almost bought another IS-F, a black 2010 until I noticed it didn't have the cool tacho

When will Lexus do a power bump?

Found a P30 C63.....

and the M6 is gone.... what next?

That would suck because this thread is 100% about the 2011 IS-f tacho....

I've cleaned up some off topic and rude posts. VRAA, please clarify what your question is about the is-f tachometer.

I don't believe much is know on the next generation IS-F.

I *believe* that the updated IS should be shown in the next year however...but who knows.

Dont have a new one but here is a sample pic. I have a 2009 and the same gauge cluster as the previous post

Thing I like about the new tach is that it has a digital number which will let you know the speed your going and you have a 3 stage light that starts to appear on the RPM when you are in sport mode. I watched a few videos after a little curiosity of this thread

Which I would definitely need if I had one of the new IS-F and had to drive around town. Speed limits are really enforced near the area I live.

Could care less if I was cruising with a few buddies.

I prefer the newer tach, but we lost the voltmeter.

When I bought my '11, I gotta be honest.... I preferred the design of the older instrument cluster, but shortly after actually driving it around for a bit.... I much prefer the new one with the dig speed and smaller analogue speedo. It's so quick to look and see what speed you're going, also the large center tach screams. " this is a performance car!!". Lol

+1
I was hoping the digital speedometer was a little larger.

I prefer the old instrument cluster design. It's not because I have an 08, but it's because I feel it's more useful and more legible. The IS-F is no dedicated sports car, so having a giant tach and a tiny speedo seems out of character. When I drive my F, I'm more concerned about my speed than how close I am to redline.
