IS-F tachometer question

I've never looked at the analogue speedo on my '11, only the digital speedo to tell my speed.

It would have been nice if the old tach had a digital number for speed as well...

Why would anybody look at the little analogue one when you can quickly glance and see the exact speed you're going one the digital one...?

Peripheral vision, analog is easier to scan w/o attn than digital IMO

I wonder why Lexus decided to have the tach read up to 9000. The car only redlines to 6800. They should have ended it at 8000 and use that space to enlarge and move up the digital speedometer. It sits too low and is not large enough.

Me too. It's way too small for starters. I can only assume its there for safety regulation reasons?

I guess you haven't driven the '11+ models. The digital is much easier to read.
