Well believe me, no one here wants you to succeed more than I do. It will be a new dawn for Toyota drivers if Pro EFI can get a working tunable solution for engine management.

I was flying with a guy who works for Toshiba's automotive division and I told him I am completely frustrated there are no solutions for someone who wants to compete with a Toyota product unless Toyota is sponsoring you. I'd even be happy to pay for a motorsports version - tunable with full CAN and BEAN support if they'd just sell it.

Its a standalone, but will run in parallel with the stock ecu. Its going to be tricky to get it going. Just a matter of time

The fact i have the support of lobuxracer and mr slay have really showed me that thy are very interested in how this turns out and that pro efi may be the solutiom we are looking for. Very glad i went with these guys. Cant wait to see the turn out

And to answer your earlier post mr slay, boost by gear, with traction control % control by gear. Think about that for a bit. It is going to be mind blowing

Nice progress F4Fast, I really hope this is a successful venture.

A few other nice features of ProEFI that IDK have been mentioned are Flex Fuel control and Meth compensation. Both would be great features to have on a boosted ISF specially if fuel tuning ends up being limited.

That is what we will be running on, flex fuel system once we have the ems running good with the stock ecu. We are going for boost so this will be the cheaper route instead of race gas. Running e85 on a isf daily driven 650-700whp is what i hope to accomplish. This hp area will really tear up alot of cars on the street, and it will be a safe daily driver, which i dont daily mine to begin with. Yes 1k hp monsters are awesome on paper, but in the street, its really not that fun spinning 1-4. And realistically, other than at the tx2k meets, when in the hell am i going to bump into anything like that? Pointless. I want realistic, and safe numbers. Record holder is 633 on juice, engine ecu not tuned. So i think 650-700whp sounds pretty good to me.

^^^^^ I totaly agree, I tell people this about the Supra all the time. I have almost 900 WHP available but prefer to enjoy closer to 550 WHP on pump gas and 17psi. That much power is for the drag strip or a novelty mostly, it's really not as cool as people think. 600-700 WHP should be tipping the limit of a stable ISF that is set up well and as you said a lot safer.

Have you guys figured out what type of turbos you guys are going to use and what powerband you guys are looking for? Due to the nature of the beast, the proper turbo setup would result in an amazingly aggressive powerband. The turbo that I had made for my F is a 76/60 with a .98 ar. I planned on running 4-6psi max and making the rest of the power through nitrous.

Feel Free to PM if you want to keep the info private.

Turbos i was thinking some precision 6262, but really depends on the space we have. Still gotta make the manifolds for the turbos so its still something that hasnt been designed/built/made since our main focus as of right now is the tune. But ill ask them what they are thinking of going with. Also, i was thinking of juice at take off since proefi can control nitrous aswell, alot still getting discussed.

As for money, i cant discuss that since they are doing the whole thing as r&d. We still have to get this installed and see if we can control the drivers for the mechanical fuel pumps. If we can it should be go from there. If not, we will need additional drivers to bypass the oem and control them. So money wise, we still arent sure what it will be, but i can say its in the thousands(plural) area as of right now.
