Im planning on getting a isf soon , & by having a tune would make me so happy :-)

 

Just a heads up that it would appear the HGMS tune is officially dead according to a meeting I had a SEMA last week. Thought I could get in on the beta and be a test car for them but apparently they couldn't quite get it to work and it was abandoned for other platforms that were easier to engineer and tune and with larger market size.

However in the spirit of full disclosure this was not first person information from HGMS directly, but 2nd hand from a supplier I trust that works closely with them and was aware of the project and had been following it basically because I kept bugging him about it.

Sucks, but I am not surprised. Too bad HGMS lacked the class to at least give people here a heads up.

 

hmmm...looks like im heading down to their office to hear it officially...

 

This sucks. I wonder if they would be willing to sell their intellectual property pertaining to this? Maybe a crowd sourced funding solution. Hmmm.

 

just got done talking with HG regarding the tune. they are not throwing in the towel yet and are still working on it. release date.....no idea but they havent given up on it.

 

That's good. I think they should since the new RCF is going to be running a version of our motor. What they learned from this might be also useful on the RCF

 

Lets hope they got something up their sleeves imagine the wide range of possibilities a ecu or tuning solution will open
