Default acceleration with headers

How much faster a car became after installing headers? ( sikky) My best result 0-100 km/h was 4.74 by G-tech ( 0-60 ml/h 4.48 ) only with Joe Z exhaust.

Don't know my time difference, but an M3 was tailing me and I was tailing an M5 yesterday. The M5 took off, can couldn't pull away and we both easily pulled from the M3. Pre PPE headers, I pulled from M3s but not that easily. I wonder what that M3 owner was thinking.

I only have PPE headers on. No tune is available in the US. I'm not sure if the ISF with headers is same as or faster than the M5. There was not enough room to unequivocally determine that safely. What is for sure is we both smoked the M3.

Here's an old video of slay's car with minimal modifications (no headers) vs. an M5 (and Z06) from a roll.

I'd imagine the race would be even closer with headers.

Headers and exhaust can cut off 1 second on the quarter mile as seen from the video above. I'm not sure about the 0-60, but I'm pretty sure it's quite a bit faster.

Car setup the same with nearly the same Density Altitute and wind direction I noticed approximately 3/10ths of a second difference.

Check out my drag strip journal that I created to help me measure the differences. Select the "Caymandive IS-F Cecil" link at the bottom to compare the information for columns dated 11/28/09 and 10/29/10.
