Your sig shows you have a GS. Did you post in the wrong section or are you talking about the ISF?

I see you are in Middle East. I don't think US spec lexus models come with this feature unless it's installed at dealership at extra cost.

Well, at least either of my is-f or gs350 have it.

Not in the US. Plenty of things the US model doesn't do compared to the rest of the world. All this does for a US car is roll down all the windows and open the sunroof.

^you just hold the unlock button for a couple of seconds.

but you can't roll them back up with your keyfob, you gotta either remove the key hole cover on your door handle and put the key in and turn it or get inside the car and use buttons. This is another thing where US spec gets f$%ked. I believe you can roll both up and down the windows with your keyfob on Non-US spec models.

Yup, US models don't get that cuz they say something like someone could put their hands through the window that you might not realize when rolling up the windows from a distance and possibly hurt that person. so you have to be next to the car or in the car when rolling up the windows... wtf....

The window automatically rolls down when there is an object interfering... try it.. put your hand and roll up the window.. so that aint a reason.

^true, same for the sunroof but I've heard that is why US don't get that feature. I don't see any other reason tho.

Yes it is. The attorneys didn't want to deal with the inevitable litigation if there was any possibility of a problem.

Hey Lance

GM has attorneys that must think differently than Toyota attorneys. GM has remote start, and we all remember the TV add with a young lady settling herself onto an airplane when here boyfriend calls and says "Do it again". She then uses her smartphone to not only start the Chevy Volt but also to lock and unlock the doors.

Me, I don't think I'd want that capability on my car, too much risk, IMO.

Lou
