Yea I asked him to send me pics since he was selling it. I never go the pics. The service adviser confirmed that he had the car but until i see it he may be lying.

Well how much hp does the cts-v engine crank out minus the supercharger.

Hopefully, some of the process used for this motor build makes its way into the 2013 GS-F.

you can wire in a stand alone or even just a fuel/ign controller...not an ideal situation for %99 of f owners, but just saying there's always a way...far as the 80hp from a tune. not likely as said. but throw in a exhaust, header, intake and some tuning...hell yea

Please show us how you will do this. I have yet to see a standalone an any full featured 2IS regardless of displacement.

I didn't say I was doing it haha. I'm no is-f expert. All I know is I've seen a **** ton of random cars with motecs wired in. Maybe I'm wrong and the is-f is just this untunable magical engine. I'm just saying there's got to be someone in this world that has tuned this engine. an afr tuner at least can't be that unimaginable. And if there is ever a solution, then tell me you think a tune with those mods isn't worth 80hp. Honestly though, I dont care to argue about theory on a car site I go to, to look at pics. If it makes everyone feel better, just assume I'm a retard and pay me no mind

This is in regards to the torque driveability vs hp output. Has anyone seen a stock BMW 4.0 V8 dyno graph? The torque curve isn't a curve, its a straight line. It makes almost all of its torque well past the ISF's redline. Still manages over 100bhp/liter. The ISF does make more torque everywhere but it has a much larger peak. Why is an equal output per liter so far fetched? It would still make a lot of torque, and more hp.

If this stroking kit isn't just all talk, then how come we never even seen one video of this car tracking or even driving fast? All of videos of this car are just driving really really slow and making a lot of useless noise.

If this stroking kit really works, then why they never put it into the market? Instead of making money off this stroking kit, 5 axis rely on selling their wheels (yeah it gives you 200 WHP!!!) ????

Honest truth, the bodykit is really unattractive at all and ugly.

This car is just another chiwawa scenario, its all bark but no bite , its all for the look no real performance.

Personally, i hate companies with all big talks and looks but no real result, such as fox marketing, elite auto engineering and 5axis

Um, I think this car was built for SEMA only. I don't think 5-axis does motor work, so its not their product to develop and sell. It would be really expensive to change the whole rotating assembly, and bore the block if that is what is required. The engine has to have a tune when you change internals like that, and since it hasn't been done yet, and Lexus told 5-axis to do this, they probably provided them with an ecu or the car wouldn't even run.

If it's so easy do it yourself

Seriously, do it yourself, we're in America the bastion of capitalism. It's not too hard to start up your own tuning company and start selling products, to build capital you can do reselling for a while. Get a few white label companies to manufacturer some products, find a niche market if you can and dominate it. The possibilities are endless and maybe one day you can even market a stroker kit to us F'd up folks

This better not be directed at me. I never said it was easy in any way what-so-ever. I also do not live in America.... THANKFULLY. Lexus contacted 5-axis to do the modifications. That is a fact. They told them to do motor work. That is a fact. That car now has a 5.8L. That is a fact. They would have either had to find a way to tune it, or Lexus gave them an open ECU in order to make it work. That is a fact.

Your Mechanic is about as knowledgeable and reputable as the piece of lint at the bottom of my right side pocket...

Oh, and the IS-F is not "de-tuned from 500HP" its actually "tuned to 416HP".
