Default Wheel fitment check...........

Okay guys, I'm about the pull the trigger on a set of SSR Type F wheels. The specs are:

19 x 8.5 et 42mm front, high disk spokes
19 x 9.5 et 38mm rear, high disk spokes

I'll be running 245/35 and 275/30 Dunlop Direzza DZ101s on them. Also, I'm lowered on Eibach pro-kit springs.

What do you guys think about the fitment in the rear? According to my measurements, the tire might get close to the inside lip of the rear fender. The outer rim of the wheel should be perfectly flush with the outside of the rear fenders though.

Thanks for the input!

Mugen I think those wheels will looks sick on the F.

Hope you don't mind if post in here as well and maybe we should make one thread in the IS-F section since there is one in the 2g IS section for wheel fitment questions.

Wondering is these wheels will fit.
Work VS-XX 19x9+34 R disk fronts and 19x10+23 O disk rears

^^ No problem. I think the rear 10+23 will poke out quite a bit on an ISF.

Can anyone confirm the fitment on my SSR rears? I'm going to order them today.

Wow, those are some light wheels!!! According to http://www.lexusfforum.com/forums/sh...fitment&page=4 the fronts will definitely fit...the rears may rub though...nothing some minor trimming wouldn't fix.

I love the look of the wheels. They would be perfect with 255/35R19 fronts and 285/30R19 rears (likely with trimming).

The rears might rub. I believe the rears would need a +45 offset to not rub at all.

The SSR site says they weight 19.7 front and 19.9 rear respectively.

Thanks for the correction. I didn't even bother to look at the weights I just knew they were semi solid forged and assumed they would be light.

So as a precaution, I'm going to roll the rear fenders a bit. What's your guys' experience with rolling fenders on the F? Is there a chance that the paint will crack or peel from the rolling?

Hey, good talking to you on saturday. What made you decied to go with 9.5 in the rear now. I too think that's the best setup with your 275 tires you have. Let me know

We've rolled a good amount of IS fenders. There is a rubbery foam line that flex's and causes the paint to crack but it's no big deal. Take a little clear nail polish to the edges when you are done and you will be fine.

Yeah, good talking with you too. With the 8.5 rear, I'm only gaining 7 more mm of offset, which would still look tucked. The 9.5 will sit nice and flush with the fender.
