Many of us associate unpainted carbon fiber with sheer ugliness and race inspired cosmetic enhancements. F1 cars are almost all carbon fiber, but they are all painted. Nothing screams "look at me, I've got carbon fiber" more than unpainted panels on a car. I personally think it looks like a metal body car in primer. Not yet finished.

I think if you have a small trim piece here, or a small diffuser in unpainted CF is ok, but actual panels, bonnets, trunklids etc...I'm not a huge fan of. I personally think it ruins the lines of most cars...I don't mind roofs though in CF. =)
