Default Slammed F!

I was getting bored of the look of my ride so I decided to drop the height more. Coilovers are setted to the lowest setting. Can't go any lower. We need more threads on slammed IS-F's

Happy New Year everyone.

It's dropped on Tein CS coilovers with EDFC. Yes there is rubbing when making hard turns over bumpy surfaces. I upsized tires to 245/35 front and 275/30 rears.

I've had this coilover set up for over a year and never took shots of the EDFC. This is what I set it at # of clicks away from the stiffest. It's a rough ride but to reduce the rubbing it's a temporary fix before I decide to roll the fenders.

I'm surprised nobody has put airbags on this car. None that I've seen anyway. I know its sacrilege but I'd have expected it to happen by now.

Ya I'm surprised too. In the 2G IS Boards u see alot of slammed on airbags threads done to is250/350's and they look sick.

Dang, that is low for an F! Good thing you don't have a front lip of any sorts ;p Glad to hear you like the Teins with EDFC, I'm considering putting those or the KW's on my F next

Dude, you slammed your car during winter in the lower mainland? Ballsy!

Lets meet up sometime in the Spring. I have not met another IS-F driver locally and I would like to hear how that Joe Z exhaust sounds!

I wanted the KWv3's cuz they are a lighter suspension and better dampening settings but I like the EDFC option from Tein as I don't wanna get out of the car and rip panels out just to adjust the stiffness.

Yes, it is sacrilege, especially with a car that has the sporting nature of the IS-F. ISF-88 has shown you can go pretty damned low without airbags. Hopefully, we never see a bagged F for the reasons noted.

I could not agree with you more. lowering slightly with coils or springs looks fine but droping it to the ground looks just plain stupid. I really don't understand why people seem to think that "slamming" a car is so cool looking. 1) it is a major decrease in performance 2) it probably rides like it looks, like it's on the axel.
