Not recommended and it wasn't fun feathering the gas pedal.. LoL
I was also at a track event once, well below empty and when I was pulling G's, fuel was cutting off ..

I"ve not had the F down that far but a previous ride (M45) went about 50 miles after **** ....... Filled and had less than a gallon left.
I'm pretty sure the manufacturer builds in a reasonable safety factor. (tho I wouldn't want to count on it.
Joe/lobuxracer -- how quickly will the pump overheat from low fuel levels?

20 miles and I put in about 15 gallons in when I finally filled up. I supposed If I'm ever desperate I'll just have AAA bring me a few gallons

I have run every car I ever owned to empty (not intentionally). When I fill up, there has always been at least two gallons not accounted for on the gas meter.
So how ever you want to drive, you probably have two gallons to get to a gas station.
