does anyone know a way of finding the offset on a wheel? mesuaring something

place wheel face down floor
place a level or something straight and true across the back of the rim
take a ruler and measure vertically from the bottom edge of the level to the back face of the hub, this will be "X"

offset= X-(rim width/2)

keep your units consistent and convert inches to mm, or just measure in mm.
