Default Tire question

I bought my IS-F with the tire and wheels package my dealership offered here, which gives me free tires lifetime. My car came with bridgestone Potenza tires, but I heard some ISF's come with the Michelin PS2's stock, is that correct? If yes do you think the I can get the PS2's from the dealer next time, and possibly wider tires like some have already put on.(265 or 275 in the back).

I think the tire and wheel package is to insure your rims and tires for road hazards, not for free replacement when your tires are bald. You get a free replacement if you hit a pothole and the rim and tire is beyond repairable and if im correct, they require your tires to have at least 2/32nds tread left. Better double check your paperworks

My tire and wheel insurance package covers any brand of tire I buy after the stockers die, but they have to stay the same factory sizes...which is kind of a bummer. If you did indeed get free tires for life on yours and it was a reasonable price you got the deal!

yeah you also have to pay out of pocket first and wait to be reimbursed after you send in all your paperwork. im sure the dealer forgot to explain that to you.
