I want to put one of those "Joey Z" mufflers on but also with the end painted black. Maybe later on lower the car a little. But those modifications as simple as they are for some are foreign to me. There is a place in Mississauga that had a TV show for Hondas, Acuras, Mitsubishis, cars of that nature. But I thought I'd come to the bible of Lexus and ask if anyone has had any experience with a shop. Also Canada is a third world country when it comes to electronics and just basicly anything for a consumer to purchase.
Right now I'm thinking of going outside and doing the nav hack. It's pretty stupid that the passenger can't play with the nav or check the different mp3's on the disc while the car is moving.
Also, yesterday I started at the light (manual mode) in 1st, then second, then third (going fast of course), and I heard this crazy ....this crazy sound, I think it was the sound of the second air intake opening, how thrilling it was to hear it! If getting a muffler makes this sound standard on the car ....then I want one.
I'm seriously considering doing the secondary in take mod, you know the one with the vaccume cap, I'm just a little skeptical if it's bad for the car or if it's a warranty voiding mod.

The nav hack and secondary intake mod are easy DIY mods. Just take your time, be careful and read the instructions carefully. The Joe Z exhaust and black tips are definitely going to be more advanced DIY options but not impossible (would recommend a shop). I posted a link above with some shops in your area you might want to check out
When you heard the "crazy sound" was it the first time you really opened up the car? The opening of the intake is a sweet noise
Well I thought I had opened it up before but I guess not, it was a very sweet sound! Thankx I'll check the Linx. Did you do the nav and secodary intake mods?
By- passing the speed sensor doesn't affect the VDIM or anything does it? Is that the same sensor the system collects data from in order to activate the VDIM etc?
