You got a PN for the one in your car? Please share.

yup K&N part # 33-2069...

it takes about 5 mins to install.. i ripped out the OEM filter and just slide it in... (its pretty tight space) requires some muscle if you dont want to take the intake elbow off...

but K&N really do make great filters i can almost 100% sure bet it will increase your HP maybe by 5 HP? i donno though.. if you really want me to.. i can get my car dyno'ed

Dyno not necessary. I've used Gauze and K&N filters for years. I'm a believer. Thanks for the PN.

i donno whether my car is finally broken in or if it has to do with the filter and cats and resonator taken out and my cutouts open.. but recently.. my car seems incredibly fast.. ill be pealing out in 2nd gear from 30-40mph.. unfortunately i haven't been able to drive my F in 2 weeks ... i left it back in Orlando

i really do miss it ... but tomorrow i'll be able to drive it

Any difference from the stock one, performance wise? Also how did you manage to take off the stock intake filter because it looks like a pain in the ***...lol

Not really any performance difference. Due to the thinkness of the new filter I removed the little screen thing that was in the box as well. I removed the intake tube then unclipped the right section of the box and was able to take that section out of the engine, install the filter, put that section back in, clip it, then reinstall the intake tube

I didn't really notice any performance change (although it does sound slightly deeper) when I installed it but I haven't dyno'd my car since I put it in so I wouldn't know if there was a literal difference.

The Amsoil is quite a bit thicker then the stock filter and since it's a "cheap" upgrade, I would recommend getting one

UPS just came with my K&N PN 33-2069 Air Filter. It fits like a glove. Thanks for the information. I did loosen the hose clamp and removed the elbow, took me 5 minutes also.

No doubt, on average I've seen K&N drop in filters yield 5+ hp so IMO it's worth every penny. Plus the sound (if any) and gas mileage improvements.
