Default Need a new tire :(

I must be bad luck, first the grill and now I need a new front tire (Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Front: 225/40ZR19). Tirerack has it for $279 and backordered. Anyone find them cheaper and in stock?

Thanks in advance.

Wow, that sucks! What happened if you don't mind me asking? Nail?

I looked at Discount tire/America's tire company and they are a little more expensive then Tirerack but I don't know what area of California your from so I don't know if they're in stock

I've ordered several tires from this place. Highly recommend.

I had nail in the tire that could not be repair, wheel works was no luck nor tire rack. But for some reason my friends at Sonic MS in Mountain View was able to locate my tire within 24 hours.

Call them up (http://www.sonicms.net/contact.html) and ask for Darwin.

Thanks guys!

I also got a nail in my front tire, but it was at a weird angle near the sidewall so that it could not be fully plugged

Just about 2 weeks ago, I got two nails and one 5" bolt through my rear right tire. It held the air fine for a few days until discount tire looked at it. It couldn't be safely repaired so I ordered two rear toyo proxies so they'd match. Fortunately my friend works at toyo so I got em for $120 a piece. I still like the stock michelin's better but they are way too expensive!
