how hard is it to replace the factory HID bulb for the IS-F with a D4S 8k bulb?

 

really not that hard...pop off engine covers, grab a ten milli to take out the washer fluid hose, pop off left and right covers behind headlight and walla...change em. took me 7 mins yesterday morning.

 

I just replaced mine with 6k hids for the headlights and 3k for the fogs. The headlights are a little bit tricky...well the left side is...because it is close to the dual intake area which is very small...maybe have to take the intake to make it easier...but the right one is not that hard...

mine was super easy....I put 10k in my headlights and the whole process took less than 30 minutes... i did not have to touch any part of the intake.

 

actually you don't have to touch the intake if you don't want...I just did cuz I also changed my daytime/high beam lights to a different bulb...a yellow bulb...heh so I had to loosen the intake so I could get under to change it.
