Default Dirty roads

My IS-F is my daily driver, so I use it to go to work everyday. Since my office is not close to where I live I have to drive about 30 miles each way through the FL Turnpike. That has to be one of the worst toll roads in the country in terms of debris.

Today at noon while I was walking to my car to get my lunch I saw something sitting in the front bumper, behind the lower front grill. I was in shock when I saw something that looked like a locking ring! My first thought was that my engine got damaged somehow, but after careful inspection I found out that this piece didn't belong to my car, it actually came through the front grill and ended up there. So as you can imagine the lower front grill is broken. If this piece (heavy BTW) went to my windshield I'll probably be in the news tonight.

I had to fix the grill so it didn't look too bad, and I think I did a good job. You can't really tell unless you pay close attention and know that there is something wrong with the grill. I used black zip ties.

Does anyone know how much this grill can cost? Other than the dealer, any place where I can get it?

Some pictures so you can have an idea of the damage, be careful when driving through certain roads...

Good job on the fix - I couldn't even tell except on the close-up pics you posted.

I haven't seen yours, but in mine that locking ring broke the grill at 6 places, fortunately I could fix it with those zip ties.

Anyway this is all I could find...
