Question More airflow w/o grill?

I've been seeing a lot of people in my area driving their is300's with no grill... When I asked a few of them, they said there would be more airflow... Don't find this true... What are your guy's opinion?

I really see no point in this other than looks. There's plenty of modifications you can do to get more airflow. Especially since these grills have a wide diamond mesh.

I've seen a lot of people do this. On the Lancer, I took out the bottom grill just for looks, and many people on the forums said they took off the lower grill and fog housings to get better airflow, except I find that incorrect.

It's those little mods people tend to do to get "more hp" but in reality, it won't do anything.

its not mentally than physically.

if you want more air, cut a hole in your bumper ( the real way!)

a aftermarket intake, such as SRT with a heatshield would increase airflow and be a documented way to TRULY increase HP.
