415 makes no sense to me if the M3 and Audi RS4 are only 5hp more. I am sure they would at least tie them at 420.

But it didn't come from Lexus, that is the point. We are hearing it from you, you heard it from a dealer and the dealer heard it from whoever he heard it from. Which translates to nothing more than heresay.

I found this in Autoweek.com

They say 425HP.

"IS: The high performance 2008 IS-F sedan, with a 425-hp, 5.0-liter V-8 and Brembo brakes, arrives late this year. A coupe will be added in mid-2008 as a 2009 model. But the convertible has been pushed back to the summer of 2009 because the plan now is to engineer a hardtop convertible instead of a ragtop."

They also say that the GS is finally getting the 3.5 V6. Well obviously thats wrong b/c they already have it.

It seems like almost every week a news/media outlet publishes a new number for the IS-F. Some sites actually published that the IS-F would have 400HP and 350 lb-ft of torque, which the original Lexus PR from the Detroit Auto Show proves wrong .

Let's wait for the official number before making judgements.
