Since I have the IS250, I am not going to buy 2nd car that has similar outlook only the engine under the hood is different!! I will go for the M3!! However, I still wanna to see the IS500 spec b4 I made any decision on which car I buy IF I HAVE THE MONEY$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I doubt that I would even think twice about this decision. M3. The difference between the two cars is that one is going to be a razor-sharp, all-around performance machine. The other one is going to be a softly-sprung, cradle-my-buttocks in comfy cozy, overly-quiet pony car.
All these suppositions on the IS500 out there and noboby here has ever sat in an IS500, drove an IS500, or seen one in person up close. How do you know it's not designed for performance? Who says it's going to be cushy?

Look at my signature pic, and compare it to the guy test driving the IS500 on the spy videos...
Honestly, automaker philosophy: Lexus will always have more of a touch of luxury and comfort compared to BMW. They will compromise a bit with the handling and rigidity of the car, but I doubt they will go all the way. Lexus has stated that their goal is "not to copy BMW."

Well, it is a Toyota. The IS was supposed to be a 3-series beater (even the previous generation), and it comes up way short in the handling department. The IS is a Buick, more than it is a BMW.
