Minding my own business on the highway and some bozo decided he wanted my lane really bad. Impact nearly spun me but I was able to keep it straight. C$11,400 estimate, and luckily insurance has ruled I'm not at fault. Repair soon.

 

That's a real shame. I had similar engagement last April, then a month later got hammered in the rear. I had it all fixed at the same time, and it ended up being $8500 US. I hope your repair is satisfactory!

 

Thanks. The body shop my detailer suggested has been entrusted with his M5 and a number of high end cars, so I have an expectation it will be well repaired. The USB is going to be hard to match, so he said the entire side including the front fender will be painted and blended where the body line rolls over at the top. Insurance is dragging their feet - crash was on August 30 and here we are.
