So a few years back I removed my rear bumper for some work, recently I realized that it doesn't look like I put it back together properly.
I noticed that there are these white/gray tabs sticking out which are visible at a distance and wanted to check with other members if these look normal or if I reinstalled the bumper incorrectly?
Looking back at my old photos I can't seem to see these white/grey tabs so I assume that I installed the bumper back incorrectly. Can anyone verify if I installed the rear bumper correctly or not from the below pictures?
Unfortunately this becomes a normal issue. The tabs are paper thin on the bumper, and they break off. The floating screw hole near the center of the bumper and trunk lid also detach. Search "ISF bumper sag" - it happens on the fronts too. There are some people in some of the ISF facebook groups that have 3D printed some hopeful fixes
For some reason I can't see the post, plus I don't have a facebook account

So did I install the bumper back correctly or are the tabs supposed to be under the bumper and not above like in the picture?
Found this clip and it shows the same tabs are visible so it seems I installed it correctly but most likely its sagging. I'll check the bolts and see if they need some tightening:

You most likely installed it fine. There’s only one way the tabs go in. Again, the tabs are razor-blade thin and detach from the bumper. What probably happened is the tabs detached in some areas from your bumper but are still stuck in the clips. And/or the floating part beneath the plastic square covers under the trunk lid have detached too.
Managed to snag some pics. Looks like a rail system that is glued to the back. Just to say I have no connection with this seller. I am thinking about doing this.
And the pockets for the bolts

Can you elaborate more on what exactly you are planning on doing? Looks like a different rail system but how is this different or how will this help exactly?

Looks like the positioning of the add-on support rail is the key. I'll have to find out more from the seller.
