EPA cats. You'd think there would be no issues, but I suspect the joints are not all good. Hoping for better with the JoeZ install later this week.

These are GESI high flow EPA cats. Hoping it will resolve the p0420/30 code.
How's the exhaust fume smell with the EPA cats? I've been thinking about picking them up to reduce/eliminate the smell.

Night and day. I use to have to leave my garage open to air it out before going CAT. I can barely smell the fumes now.

Is getting a cel pretty common with the PPE headers even with cats? This is starting to worry me a bit and I haven't even gotten them installed yet. Main reason I was going to do this is I suspect my passenger side header is already cracked. Ticking sound when driving whether it's hot or cold. Sounds just like when my aftermarket manifold cracked on my old EVO.

Almost guaranteed without a tune. Some say spacers prevented it for them, but I've found that to have a low success rate.

Default Header help ppe UEL headers

I wanna get fbo so I’m looking into getting headers. I have a 2008 Lexus isf 55k miles I daily this car and travel state to state about 2k miles every several months and I read it’s still reliable with going fbo. My question is I got rr racing boo la exhaust just the axle back with no cats and converter. So I wanted to see if yall can help let me know if going cat less or getting cats on the headers is beneficial or changes the reliability. I am from Texas so the emissions isn’t bad but still.
