If the ECU was in a ready state before, or you've gone through the drive cycles properly you should be ok.

Running O2 spacers to avoid P0420/0430 is very hit and miss, and usually miss from what I've seen. I tried 90* spacers with no success, I got the codes right away. Best success I've seen with spacers is running a 90* with a straight after it, which then requires longer O2 wiring. Not worth the hassle IMO. Loi tune fixed that issue permanently for me.

As for Loi recommending different primary O2 extensions, I'm sure that's fine, but more importantly is protecting them. Every case of failed PPE primary O2 extension failures I've seen have been due to no protection added to the wires and them burning/melting. Throw some heat shielding on and have no problems.

Correct, I should have been more specific, I use the 90 degree with extensions on mine and have not had any issues with the CEL. I also did not have to extend the wiring at all, more than enough slack to thread them in fine.

Wow, this is news to me. I have a set of headers waiting to go on and I figured this worked the same as the tune out on my CTSV.

That's not quite what I was getting at; best success I've seen is a 90* spacer WITH a straight added to the end, thus the length requiring additional wiring. I had no luck running just a 90*.
