Default Radiator fitting for pressure test on ISF

I am pretty sure my ISF has the well known valley plate leak (will post pics later), however we want to eliminate any simpler causes and carry out a pressure test first (I am aware sometimes cars with the valley plate leak will pass a pressure test).

The two kits I have access to, don't have the correct fitting for the radiator cap . This might be an easy question for some but its my first time pressure testing any car, so I was wondering if anybody could point me towards a part number or similar for an attachment which definitely fits OR a kit which has the right fitting contained in it. I am in Europe, so american brands are a little harder to get, though not impossible. Thanks all

I'm wondering if this kit will fit:

One of the best indicators of a VPL (besides the dried pink coolant seen underneath and in those tight areas via a telescopic cam) is slow coolant loss seen in your reservoir tank.
I am pretty sure that if you pressure test this system, you will surely agitate that seal and possibly make it worse.

No one here has reported this after a pressure test, but plenty have done a pressure test and had it pass but still had the leak.

Thanks both, will take this into account. I have used a borescope to get some pics and will post them next week for comment. I am 95% sure its the valley plate leak, it seems extremely obvious, but if the pics help someone else, all the better.

Have you got under the car and looked at the top of the transmission? It's usually the easiest way to see the leak.

That really depends on the size of the leak. Mine never left the valley, but it was easy to see with a borescope from the top. Passenger's side front is the usual location if the problem exists.

To your point, some guys have seen pink streaks down the side of their gearbox for sure. Just depends on how bad it is.
