Transmission Mount Recommendations
Here's another option. After reading an article about the RCF track edition which says "Although it’s not part of the suspension, the rear engine mount was also redesigned to eliminate any sensation that the engine is “lagging behind” the chassis during aggressive changes in direction. The new mount actually reduces the stiffness of the rubber itself but increases the overall control through the use of a wider, more stable design.
I decided to order part number 12371-38180 and install it. I just installed headers and new OEM motor mounts too. I haven't driven the car yet though because the insurance is still on winter storage.
Comparing the 2 mounts the new one has a lot more rubber and is bigger overall. Twisting it by hand is harder than the old stock mount.

It's a direct fit no modification required. I only ordered part number 12371-38180 and reused everything else. I reused the metal bracket part number 1232138020 that bolts up to the transmission which has the same part number as RCF track edition. I also reused the rubber insulator that wraps around the mount, the RCF track edition has a different part number 12392-38030 for this but I just stretched it over the new mount for now. I'm going to assume the updated insulator is bigger to accommodate the bigger mount. And I reused all nuts and bolts.
I've driven the car twice now. Keep in mind it's been 4 months since I've last driven it while it was in winter storage and I added headers and new motor mounts in this time so it's not a back to back comparison. I'm on stock exhaust so my exhaust is not loud either (I don't like drone). All my original mounts were in good shape (no cracks or play) with only 130k KM on them. As for NVH; noise I'm going to say is the same. Vibration I'm going to say is the same. Harshness I'm going to say is less. I feel like the shifts are smoother. Before in sport manual mode my car would bang first and second shift and you would feel the hard shift. It still shifts fast no doubt but maybe the transmission isn't moving around as much making it less harsh of a shift? It's hard to say but I'm happy with it and leaving it this way because I was going to change the transmission mount with the new motor mounts anyways. When summer comes around I'll put it through it's paces at a few autocross events and track days.

go with RR racing street version.
ive had OEM, then switched to Kein (no real improvement, jsut way too much trans whine and noise you hear in cabin, went to RR street type. still a tiny bit of whine as its stiff enough for street or track, but not obnoxiously annoying like Kain)
if you dont care about whining sounds and want as stiff as posible, either go RR track mount (red poly one) or Figs polly (same design) Kain is just a bad design. I took mine off, should have done it sooner.
if you want to stiffen up your drivelone check your rear guibo rubber bisquit (between driveshaft and diff) its probably cracked worn out and soft. (I swapped mine, its same as is300,mk3 supra, or any other 2jz toyota part number about $80-$100) easu swap while your under there. way more improvement then trans mount.

the whole mk5 bmw (Supra wannabe) threw me off.
Toyota really screwed up on this one. Imagine what a gem of a car would it be if they actualy paid Yamaha to build a new motor for a Supra?
