Yup, that was the process I followed. I had reached out to diode dynamics in the past to confirm the height from the ground, and their answer was 4 inches from the ground (they said 3 inches could be okay as well given our cars are a bit lower) [See my post below for corrected instructions]

Sorry, actually - inches from the ground is not the right measurement. You want to mark the center height of the fog light on the wall, park 25ft away, and then when you turn on your fog light the top of the light beam should be 3-4 inches below the center height of the fog light (that you previously marked on the wall). The instructions I linked has a diagram showing this. Hope that helps!
