Diode Dynamic fogs are amazing, I highly recommend them. As for better headlight bulbs, Osram CBI Next Gen or Nightbreakers are the way to go, massive output difference over stock bulbs (especially if they're old).
I’ll join the DD conversation, I replaced my 2010 OEM halogens with the Diode Dynamics Elite Series in yellow, I cannot praise enough. I can’t drive at night without them, always on. Huge difference for light output. Super easy to install, slide the tabs into the factory bumper location and tighten a Phillips screw to secure them in place. I marked on my garage door with painters tape for leveling the lights before and after install. Quick and easy. I get a lot of compliments on them over my old halogens.
@bakalag@JT2MA71 How does the yellow/amber color perform in inclement weather vs the 2014 LED's? Is there a sharp vertical cutoff for the DD Elite and SS3's like the 2014 LED's?
All DD fogs have a sharp cutoff except the SS3 pros.
As an off topic FYI - the OEM headlight HID bulbs do fade in brightness over time - if yours are still OEM that came with the car, its probably time to replace them

I have the SS3 pros and you're correct, I can't see any noticeable cutoffs. @ChpEng I don't drive the IS F in the rain or any other inclement weather, but I've driven through thick fog many times and visibility is greatly improved over the stock LED fogs.

Almost wish I got yours instead cause of all the people here who drive on high beams 100% of the time and some trucks with lightbars on the freeway blinding everyone.
Thanks, all! I bought the Elite Series in yellow and they just arrived today! Looking forward to installing them when I get a chance.
For aiming - I know you're supposed to find a wall and park 25 feet away, measure the center height of the fog light and mark that on the wall. For our cars (stock height), does anyone know how far below the center mark we're supposed to aim the cutoff? The Diode Dynamics aiming video says 4 inches below the center mark, but they were using a SUV/pickup and I think 4 inches below the center mark for the ISF might be below ground level...
This thread convinced me to get the Diode Dynamics elite series fogs in 3000k but before I purchase are these reliable and is fitment like OEM? I'm skeptical of leds not made by Philips or Osram.
For the headlights I'm using Philips Xenon X-TremeVision Gen2 42402 XV2 and they've been a pretty good upgrade from the original old bulbs my ISF had. Theretrofitsource tested them against a few Osram bulbs and they had the highest lux reading.

Diode dynamics makes awesome optics. I wouldn't be the least bit concerned honestly. Plus they have an awesome warranty.
This is just one elite series fog light in my back yard...

DD products are OEM quality, their 8 year warranty speaks to their confidence. I've had two sets of SS3 for multiple years and they've been perfect.
This is who I follow for bulb info and the Philips are good but there's better Osram bulbs.

Yep, they have an amazing warranty, OEM fit and finish, higher quality and in my personal experience have been 100% trouble free. I highly recommend Diode Dynamics products! Enjoy!

@SonicRob99 Do you have any pictures that show the amber backlight during daytime / nighttime? And did you tap into the DRL wire for the amber backlight? (I’m trying to decide whether to do the amber backlight and if so, which wire to tap into. I have a black ISF - wondering if it’ll look good.) Thanks!
