I saw that you mentioned in the other thread that you still had one issue remaining with the new headunit.. Could you tell me what the issue is? This seems like such a tremendous upgrade over the factory system.

Do you know if the front and rear parking sensors would work with this head unit? Also, would the factory backup camera work (I know you bought a new one)?

Wow this would be a nice upgrade indeed.... When you're done and you have time, can you put the parts you got installed and the time/cost of all of it? Thanks for posting info on your upgrade.

Mine boots with picture of old is1300 I would like just the Lexus logo on boot also boot time is about 20-25 seconds reverse cam works immediately though.

Can you give a play by play on your camera hook up ? I connected mine but it comes on for three seconds upside down and then goes away. I have to switch to camera to and put it in reverse to make it come on for the three seconds !! Not getting much help from rhino radios.

Good to see people still modding the vert. It's been forever since I've been on here. That Tesla style HU is bad ***. Adding that to my wish list. Looking good!

Do those radios also replace the factory navigation radios? I’ve seen several aftermarket kits but only for the non-Nav units.

Yes it does. You have to use their antenna though and use your choice of navigation apps you download

Default Back up camera issues

I just installed this , ordered from Phoenix radio for my lexus is250 2008 I installed it myself but I'm having issues with the back up camera. It just says no signal. No one in my area is familiar with this unit. Did you have this issue when first installed?

Default Good Looking

I have a very similar version of this radio in my 08 IS. It looks great but it sounds like trash. sound is muffled and distorted volume max is 40 but with volume at 20 it is very muted and distorted.
Any ideas on how to get this updated?

I also am having issues just trying to get the new unit connected to my "HotSpot" i would like to download some new apps but so far i have been unsuccessful.

Thanks for any help.
