Am I the only one with radar cruise on their ISC? Chime in if you have it

 

Haha I think it is only you :P I had that in my earlier search just for kicks and could not find a single one with that option!

 

I've never seen one on the used market with Radar cruise option either... Grrr.

 

I was looking for a long while in my search. Never found one.

 

wonder why Lexus didn't make this as a standard feature.. Once you drive a car with radar cruise, it's hard to go back to one without.

 

I've been considering adding it to my IS, would love to have it.

Sadly, I probably won't.

Wish I did have it. I do enjoy using the feature on my RX. =)

thats really cute haha. i remember being impressed by it and lane keeping assist on an rx350 while Lexus was doing my airbag recall. I actually have a dash cam hardwired in that beeps at me when I get too close to someone or the side of my lane. The one option I would really appreciate is a blind spot monitor because the rear visibility of the ISC is pretty terrible.

 

Yeah, blind spot monitoring would be a great feature.

 

Is this a feasible aftermarket addition? I was pretty surprised to discover that it was an option on the 2IS, would be cool to add it to mine.

Really wish I had blind spot monitoring as well. Oh well, just using some good old blind spot mirrors for now.

 

I have a friend with a 2003 BMW 7 series and he added radar cruise to it. There was a wealth of knowledge online in the BMW community. Not sure what kinda support you'd get from the Lexus community, but i'm sure it can be done if you have the know-how and patience.

 

do you have a nice blind spot mirror that flows well with the OEM? I've been looking for one, but don't want it to stick out like the standard circles

 

No.. I live in Southern California.. Top is down 90% of the time I'm driving the ISC.
