I read through a lot of the threads on convertible top problems, stealership costs to repair and switches/DIY advice.

I was wondering if anyone had discovered a non dealer mechanic that was able to successfully fix? I know these are niche vehicles, so I'm guessing no. But I hold out hope that maybe someone knows a guy in the greater NYC area!
