^^ I have never heard of a tire place in Canada that offers such a program. It would be nice though but I will just ride them out. The dealership where I service mine always give me good discounts on parts and service so I will keep supporting them as they treat me so well

^^ Yours will be arriving in December right?! I wonder when the last batch of the UE will arrive and be sold. Unlike the LE where there was so much excitement because we were all waiting to see the new IS 500, the UE is a bit more of a sad moment knowing it's the end. Even the registry thread is inactive with no update to the numbers (lol)

 

They were awesome. Abdo and Jeff do things the right way! At one point I was searching almost nationwide for a car and had 5 deposits out at dealers in NY. They called me at like 8 oclock on a Friday night to tell me they could get me a car from Wisconsin which at first I was skeptical of. But along the way they gave me every single detail imaginable, and made the whole thing easy. Good Luck!

 

^^ It is dealer experience like this that restores my faith in people involved in the auto industry, compared to those that charge markup and try to scam people!! So happy that it worked out for both of you! The IS 500 is an amazing car and we are blessed to have the chance to own them (not just the UE but the 2022-2025 in general)

 

Yes! Should be 2nd or 3rd week in Dec. I'm curious too how high my number will be, considering it's middle-end of Nov and production is supposed to end this month.

 

I was running the numbers over the weekend, and my local dealer did add $3k in markup.
The sales guy straight up lied to me when he said they don't do markups. I guess I'm just gonna keep my USB then.

 

That sucks - I hate the bait and switch and just plain lies. I don't have any tolerance for that sort of tactics - The USB is a gorgeous color, in fact, this car looks amazing in pretty much any colors which says alot about the design in itself. The UE is a really nice combo but it is not perfect either so don't feel bad about passing up on it

 

What is MSRP for the Ultimate? Is it supposed to be similar to the normal Sport Performance?

Aside from dealer installed trash the only add-ons I've seen on the handful I've looked into are floor and trunk mats.

 

The extra price is because of the bigger brakes, rotors and a few goodies inside. The main reason for getting the UE is mostly for getting something a bit different (red seatbelts, serial plaque, 2 tone seats with Alcantara and such). The color (Wind) will be widespread among other Lexus models and even in the IS 350 for the 2026. That being said, the IS 500 in WIND will be exclusive because they will not make any more 500 moving forward, and some of the interior stuff are nice. It is not enough to move the needle on me, and I respect that. I recall seeing it in person and was extremely in love with it, but now that I have been away for almost 2 weeks, my passion is waning a bit. I will say that no pics/videos (including my own pics) do this car justice IMO.
