USB port failure

Happened right as i got my iphone 15 so figured it was something with the move to USB-C and never did anything about it. Maybe should ask next time I'm at the dealer but given it happened to others i havn't bothered yet.

The top usb port doesn’t charge for me as well. Tried swapping out a different cable with the Lexus cable and Logi cable. Issue follows top port but not the bottom port.
dealership said it’s a known issue. The IS and ES have this issue and top port is not compatible with UsB C port they said.
I have issue with charging my iPhone 15 pro max only on top port tho.

The weird thing is that dealership said they can claim warranty for me ONCE for this top USB port issue. Sounds like after replacing it once they will refuse to fix it again if the issue comes back.
I thought the car comes with 4 years bumper to bumper warranty.
I’m an electrical engineer and this is very frustrating the fact that they admit this is a Lexus design issue but don’t want to fix it later even though it’s under warranty.
Did anyone else get the same response from the dealership?

My top port has worked fine the whole time. I had to replace the cable I had plugged into it, since it was getting bent and over time wore out.
I am on my second IS of this latest refresh and have not had issues. I'd be making a racket at the dealer if I did.

Guess I should revisit my ports to make sure they both work before the warranty expires.
