^^ Well, before i wash them, i use a leaf blower to remove loose stuff as much as possible, the regular wash and wipe dry. Every once in a while, I put a like application of the Dr Beasly matte wheel seale. I applied a proper application early in the season but it is amazing how just a light squirt on a microfibre towel to rub on then off does...that stuff is amazing and smells so good!
I also bought some Clutch from shine supply but havent tried that yet. What you see in my pic was dr beasly after a light wipe on/off
^^ I am usually the opposite! I normally avoid black wheels and the Enkeis are really nice, a bitch to clean, but nice to look at.
I was dreading/worrying about these BBS on the UE but not sure if the matte finish or just my dedication to keep the car clean but they clean well and easily
This was taken yesterday
Am surprised they didn’t use a matte center cap for the matte BBS on the UE. I went to a dealer to other week to check out the 2026 Hagukin white IS 350. The wheels were the regular gloss BBS but had a matte center cap. The Lexus emblem wasn’t as detailed on the matte cap compared to the glossy ones.
^^ you can't make that **** up! Gloss cap on matge wheels, matte cap on gloss wheels! LoL
Btw, i use the wand (without the cloth duster) of a handheld swifter duster and wrap one layer of a damp/wet chamois to wedge between the front calipers and rim and works well to clean the barrel. As you all know, it is very tight in there but found that works for me. Not gonna make any crude comments but would be so easy to go there (lol)
animefanx2 - I forgot to ask you, what did you think of this special edition in person?
I still want to see a 2026 AWD in person again, I am not sure if its just bad pics but it seems the front wheel gap is bigger than the rear, maybe not as pronounced at the RC 350 AWD but but more than what the pre-2026 IS 350 AWD was, I did read they tweaked the suspension and is this the possible cause or just bad pics?

The wheel gap might look bigger or off looking since I took the pic with 0.5x zoom on the iPhone. But I always felt that AWD gap was always kinda large compared to the RWD counterpart. It does look higher than the pre refreshed from the pics I’m seeing. It would be nice to see both side by side to really compare. As for the 2026 overall like most peoples opinion on the exterior I’m definitely not a fan of the change to the front felt like they did ruin it grille was nicer on 2025, 2026 not as smooth of a look and does give off the Camry/Corolla vibes. As for the paint while I do like the finish and feel of matte paint it is definitely a pain to maintain. Don’t like it overall due to it being white. If it was any other color beside white or black I would have been for it. Maybe a matte version of wind would have been neat. The only saving grace for it if I was ever considering a 350 if I didn’t get a 500 would be the interior. A con was they removed the LFA style cluster. While the moving cluster is cool I guess they changed it to just a LCD since you can have more info on it vs space taken by a moving ring. Another negative is the omission of the disc player. I don’t really use CDs but still love the option of having it. But overall the change was nice for interior. Would I get the new 350? probably not. Still chugging along in my 2012 IS 250 and IS 500 for those bright clear sky weekends.
