have ONE official picture thread like other forums?

there are so many picture threads here its not even funny...just none of them are stickied.

 

I mean lets have ONE official thread that will be sticked. Is it that hard to do? When newbies come, they can go there and appreciate our cars, and get ideas for modding.

 

post a picture of your SC with aftermarket wheels
post a picture of your SC at night
post a picture of you with your SC
....


choose one, bump it. We dont need 12 picture threads stickied.

 

I agree! I hate having to go through a bunch of threads to look at all the pics and most of them are the same pics in all the threads. Mods, can we start ONE, STICKIED designated thread for just pictures? I know there's a bunch, but we can close those and start a new one now.

Yep - we want to limit the number of stickies at the top of each forum. Too many of them and they loose value.

Our approach on CL is to create a master post w/ common links... and in that 'start here' thread there is the 'main' picture thread.

I do know there are other picture threads.... if they're for a different purpose like those listed above (night photos, w/ yourself, etc) that's OK... if they are roughly the same purpose as the 'main' ultimate photo thread link them here and I'll merge them with the one from the sticky.

If it's a good thread that's always being bumped with pics it wouldn't need to be stickied.

As long as the moderators do their job and frequently lock unnecessary picture threads and refer the offending member to the pic thread.
