^^ Trust me, it is not easy or enjoyable!! Imagine buying a car in mid November, having it delivered in early December and then park it in your garage for 4 months - That has been the hardest experience ever!! Normally I buy my new cars in the spring so I can drive it almost right away after buying it but since the UE got rolled out so late in the season, I had no choice. The only part that is enjoyable about putting it away for the winter, is that every spring, you get that feeling of driving a new car all over again. But I will NEVER buy a new car in the late fall/early winter ever again! I need to drive it after purchasing it, so that when I put it away, I can say "this was fun, but you can go to sleep for a while now"
Well, when the weather does not agree, it pains me more to drive it in salt sleet rain snow than not to drive it at all. After 8 years in August, it still looks like the day it was delivered. Even the under carriage looks new. Sitting on the lift from late November to mid April has done it well. It's like the Boat. I appreciate it when it's that time once again. Almost time to get giggly!
^^ Looks amazing!! Mine is going out for its inauguration trip tomorrow!! Can't wait!
Its about time! Post multiple, high-resolution images from multiple angles and lightning conditions, throughout the entire day (sun position in sky). You're long overdue, so you have a lot of work to do tomorrow. LOL.
** Ugh - the brake dust is my biggest peeve - I have a feeling I will go insane with these. I may be the only who goes the opposite way and remove the 6 piston, pads and rotors.
For all those living in teh southern States, this is what we use as a sign of spring - the tire swap season and started with my little Spark and will do the Trax this weekend. I will post better pics tomorrow when I take the IS 500 out for a spin but wanted to share a few, and one showing the metallic flake in the paint
