In a word, they're useless.
I really don't understand why Canadian market IS500s deleted the sunroof and added pop-up headlight sprayers.
Even though mine's a daily driver even in the winter, the summer appropriate sunroof is way more valuable to me than the winter specific washers.

Is it possible for Canadian’s to purchase and register U.S. cars?
I lived with a Canadian - Filipino family for a brief time during grad school and I swear they said they brought their cars with them to the U.S.

Kimchiguy - I couldn't agree with you more!! I don't see the use for these pop up headlight washers and like you, I still can't understand the decision to exclude the sunroof. I was told that the GS F and RC F in Canada never had a sunroof but at the same time, this is not an IS F so give us the sunroof! This will likely be corrected by next year as it was likely an oversight or a bad decision like last year's model (2021 IS 350) to not the ML available at all - only on the 300 Luxury package which has since been corrected.
I was more upset earlier but now that I have moved on and no longer getting mine, I don't care anymore (lol)

I think you can, but the tax implications not to mention safety standard conversion (different lighting and bumper regulations) make it cost prohibitive to bring them up from the US. Just not worth it.Originally Posted by BChoCRNA

The irony of including headlamp washers is that many people in Canada won't be driving the IS500 in yucky winter weather. I'm a crazy one I guess lol.Originally Posted by wthrman2

I would be okay if the sunroof was deleted in favour of a carbon fibre roof (did the RCF and GSF have CF roof?)
This is definitely a great performing luxury sport sedan. But it's no track monster so no weight savings are really needed.
I can't believe they wouldn't include the ML audio in a top trim.
If you're not getting yours, what are you getting instead?
