But of course, there's always residual salt. The guy who wrapped my car suggested an undercarraige coating. What do you guys think? Is it worth it?
First off congrats on the UE.

Nice choice on the tires. I have the same. I've driven it in about 4" of snow a couple times and it was fine. The tires did good. First set of Michelins I've ever had and they're good.

I would say yes on the undercarriage treatment. I regret not having it done when I first got the car.

Congrats on the UE. Question did you receive a toy car with yours (like a hot wheel's type)? I hear some are getting them. I'm still waiting on my car to get here it was at port on Dec 15th still waiting on the truck. Can't wait to break it in and enjoy! Do the seats sit like the leather seats?

I did not get the diecast model but didn't ask for it. As a former owner of a 2008 IS F and 2019 GS F, I absolutely love this car. The IS F was great, but was an overly stiff ride. The GS F was well, just great. I feel the IS 500 is certainly less tracky but a nice balance of the F cars but more compliant street car. I love it.

The seats are partially leather (nuluxe?) and alcantara. The sitting areas are alcantara or whatever Lexus calls it. They are incredibly comfortable.

I got the AFE Takeda intake and RR Racing heat shield installed. Installation was pretty easy but I'm going to keep messing with the heat shield. Its not sitting just right yet.

I'm close to 1000mi already! I'll do the first oil change at 1K. I was surprised it takes over 2 gallons of oil.

@LH1 Did you have the Michelin All Season tires staggered on the stock BBS wheels?

Yes I'm running the 2024 BBS wheels with stock tires sizes.

I've been a loyal Bridgestone guy for a long time but they didn't have an exact fit at the time so I went with the Michelin PS4 AS. They're a very good tire. They've done well in our nuisance snowstorms. I drove home in about 4" of snow in a storm last year and they did great.

I picked up my wife's car today! Damn what a sweet ride car number 314 the delay from port was rough it took 30 days. But it was worth the wait! My drive was about 200 miles now detail time from all the rain.

I've never seen him before but I really liked his review. It really is people's last chance to get a new one.

My dealer let me know a UE came in the other day because I wanted to see it in person. It's already gone lol.

The dealer tried selling me all the extra warranties. Did any of you buy them, he was not happy. I walked out with zero extra warranty. I told him it has a warranty on the car already. I was kind of wondering if anyone bought into this?

^^ The dealer never tried anything like that - He knows I never buy extra warranty and in my case, teh warranty would only buy years as I will never ever reach close to the mileage portion of the warranty - Of course your dealer is not happy, they make amazing profit selling something very few will ever need/use.
