One place I wish had come with or that I installed PPF is the black lower front grill lip and bottom of the left and right vents. That glossy black plastic definitely takes a beating. The only good thing is it's black plastic and not painted so it only shows dings but no paint scuffs.
Due to this post, I now notice those side PPF/ stickers on older ISs and they've mostly all turned a dull dark grey color. Guess you can always take it off or replace it later.

They got dirty looking and started cracking on my wife's 2013 IS 350. I removed them.

I waited too long on our ‘04 G35 Coupe. The PPF is super old and cracked. So far we haven’t found a shop willing to take it off, they’re concerned the process will remove the paint.

I used a heat gun and then some stuff to remove the leftover sticky residue. Your car is 9 years older so maybe that is more of an issue, not sure.
